Trip Summary
Drive to Lake Nasser, a short motorboat trip takes you to Agilika Island where you will visit the romantic island temple of Isis at Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis, is now situated on the small island of Agilika.
Also, on the island are a temple of Hathor, Trajan’s Kiosk, a birth house (mammisi) and various shrines and sanctuaries.
For a sense of adventure, head to the Highlights of Aswan and pay a brief visit on the return journey to the High Dam and the ancient quarry that still holds a gigantic unfinished obelisk. From here we will head back to your hotel.
