Today the Giza Pyramids will superbly mark the start of this guided Egypt tour with Kemet Tours, including a close visit to the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure. You will definitely be amazed at their grand architectural scale when catching the first sight of these significant rock-built masterpieces which have stood in the Sahara for over 4,500 years. In addition, a 30-minute camel ride will be arranged to add more fun to this trip. Next, go closely to appreciate the extraordinary sculpture of the Sphinx. The last spot we will visit is the Valley Temple, where the pharaohs' funeral ceremonies were held. After lunch, your guide will lead you to the Egyptian Museum, home to about 60,000 precious cultural relics including sarcophagi, mummies and imperial thrones. Today, our driver will take you to a morning flight to Aswan. Upon landing, you will see our Kemet Tours local guide waiting for you, who will escort you to check into your hotel. You will have some free time, then we will take you to the Cataract Hotel for high tea before taking a felucca back to your hotel.

Your morning is free at the hotel. We will then travel to Luxor by private air-conditioned vehicle with a private guide, stopping in Kom Ombo to visit Kom Ombo Temple, where you can admire statues of the falcon god Haroeris and the crocodile god Sobek. Then we will move to Edfu to visit Edfu Temple, also known as the Temple of Horus. Having been covered by sand for centuries, it remains remarkably well-preserved, including delicate carvings on its stone pillars and walls. Arrive in Luxor, check into your hotel, overnight in Luxor.

After breakfast, you will meet your guide and start your day tour visiting Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Karnak Temple is the largest and oldest temple in Egypt, roughly half the size of Manhattan in New York City — so remember to wear comfortable shoes to explore and admire the vivid statues, towering columns and obelisks. Inside, there is a statue of a scarab, and many tourists walk seven laps around it for good luck — feel free to try it yourself if you're interested. We then return to the hotel to rest and overnight.

Afterward, explore the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the renowned Colossi of Memnon. This concludes the sightseeing in Luxor.
